First, I would like to Thank Skillet Bacon Jam for giving me the opportunity to try their delicious product. I received a jar and I was very impressed how good it tasted. I made a grilled cheese sandwich with it and put it on potatoes. I tried many different things with it. The family loves it.
You ask what is Skillet Bacon Jam? Well it's delicious! It is made of Niman Ranch Bacon and render it down along with onions, balsamic and other spices. It cooks for several hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savor and slightly sweet...basically spreadable bacony goodness! USDA approved.
About Skillet Bacon JamAbout 3 years ago, they started a street food company called Skillet Street Food. They focused on creating chef driven food, out of an airstream trailer. One of their signature items was their burger, which was grass fed beef, arugula, brioche, cambozola cheese and Bacon Jam. People started asking them if we sold it and after a brief period of time they started to sell it on their street food trailer.
You can order it from their Skillet Online Store.
