briefcase designed by Ricardo Hinojosa. The briefcase that is filled with executive elegance. Tooled of fine leather, the briefcase is lined and is divided into two compartments, the frontal one designed to hold cards, small documents, and pens. The lean shoulder strap is removable and can be adjusted to the desired length.
Here are some beautiful margarita glasses demonstrate Javier and Efren's design skill. Handcrafted using traditional blown glass techniques, the set extends an invitation to share fresh and happy feelings on a hot summer evening.
Because each piece is handmade, shape and size can vary slightly and tiny bubbles may appear within the glass. This exemplifies the hand-blown technique, making every piece a unique example of blown glass craftsmanship. The artistry of Javier and Efren has been featured in periodicals ranging from Sunset magazine to the Miami Herald.
Here is another fine piece by Javier Servin. The Ceramic Dish, Javier conjures an enchanted forest with hand-painted garlands of leaves. Working in ceramic, he creates a rectangular dish of exceptional beauty. This would be great for entertaining!
Mahogany and glass candleholder, 'Tower of Light' is quite a lovely piece. Layers of glass form a tower to shelter a tea light in this design by Siro. He sets the chimney on a mahogany wood base.
The creation below is from the imaginative mind of Armando Ramírez transforms scrap metal into a sleek, black and silver chess set. Ramirez collects the leftover metal pieces off a die machine and shapes them into the pawns, horses, and parts of the kings, which also feature cogs from a car's electrical system. The queens are made from screws, cogs and bearings from a car's electrical system. The bishops are shaped from sparkplugs and the towers from cogwheels. The board is made from a metal sheet and features ornate iron wires and bendix caps taken from a car's electrical system.
In a gesture of understanding and solidarity, a hand rests on the hand of a friend. Expertly carved from Balinese suar wood, this sculpture comes from Wayan Dirga. "It symbolizes friendship," he says. "This piece exemplifies the friendly warmth of the Balinese spirit."
