Are your kids always losing things? Have you thought about putting labels on everything? For this review I received some original labels, mini labels, shoe labels and clothing labels from Oliver's Labels! The labels are very colorful and very durable! I put a label on my grandson's water bottle, it has been through the dishwasher so many times and it still looks like new. When you pull the labels off of the sheet that they came on, they are not really sticky at all. They remind me of the same type of stuff that the water proof band-aids are made of. I also put a label on my grandson's jacket and it has been through the wash many times and it look like I just put it on. These are high quality labels. I think these labels are awesome and I would recommend them!
These labels are perfect for water bottles, school supplies, shoes, toys and so much more. With these labels, teachers, daycares and strangers will know who the item belongs to. Oliver's Labels has a Found-it Tracking system, so you won't have to share your personal information to get your belongings back.
About Oliver's LabelsDebbie is the owner of Oliver's Labels. Oliver, her sister Marla's son, is her inspiration for her business. When Ollie was young, Marla lived in New York City with her husband. When Debbie would go to visit Marla, they would go exploring the city by foot, with Ollie in his stroller. Like any young child, Ollie just loved to wiggle out of his shoes and toss them out the side of the stroller. Fortunately, they would usually notice soon enough, retrace their steps and find his tiny shoe somewhere on the sidewalk. Debbie knew there would be a time when they would not be so lucky.
That's when she got the idea to make some simple, homemade labels with Ollie's name and phone number on them. I stuck them on his bottle, inside his shoes, and on anything else Ollie decided he was bringing with him that day.
One day when Debbie was back in her hometown (Toronto, Canada), she got a very excited phone call from Marla. “You will never believe what happened!” she exclaimed. It turned out that as usual, on one of their excursions, Oliver had managed to maneuver out of one of his brand new Nike runners. Marla was so disappointed, having only discovered it missing once they got home. Later that day a woman from the Bronx called saying that she had found the shoe! The shoe was returned and Debbie was so delighted that her labels worked! Marla was so delighted at having saved a $60 pair of shoes!
By the time that Oliver started daycare, attending class with 15 other children, Debbie started thinking about her labels again. This time, she used her 6 years of experience in the printing industry to design a label that would be both waterproof and beautiful. She then came up with the Found-it Tracking System to avoid sharing personal information (like a phone number) with strangers. Marla put them on his water bottle, books, and of course his shoes. His stuff always comes home with him. His teachers appreciate the time they save, always knowing what belongings are his. Ollie’s classmates' parents started to ask Marla where they could get these same labels, both for their own children, and as birthday gifts for their children’s friends. So, Debbie's business was born!
