Womens and Children's Clothing - Tea Collection Review and $100.00 Gift Certificate Giveaway - Ends 01-05-12
Have you ever heard of the Tea Collection? They have beautiful clothing for women and children. For this review I received one Moss Colored Long Sleeve Purity Tee, one Surf Colored Long Sleeve Purity Tee and one pair of Simple Scribble Shoes. I gave these awesome items to my great grandson. They look great on him! The shirts and shoes are very well made. I would recommend the Tea Collection!
At Tea you will find beautiful children's clothes for both boys and girls! They also have women's clothing and gifts. Every season, their design team travels to a different international destination to discover inspiration for that season's collection. While on these exploration trips, they immerse themselves in the culture to learn about local textiles, colors, architecture, aesthetics, and design practices. They explore, they discover, they sketch, they take tons of pictures (video too). They come home - enlivened by the experience, ideas flowing, and ready to jump into the journey of creation. Here are a few of their many creations!
The Tea StoryThe Tea Collection was started in 2002 in San Francisco with 3 beautiful, pima cotton baby sweaters and a vision of bringing the fusion of worldwide cultures and modern design to fashion.
Travel opens anyone's heart and mind to people and places that we don't know. The clothing they create at Tea transforms the foreign world into a smaller, friendlier and more familiar place. They believe that they bring a little bit of that world home to you. - Emily Meyer, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer
They design distinctive fashion collections inspired by the beauty they discover in their travels around the world. From the iconic art and architecture of Barcelona to the graphic boldness of Brazilian street graffiti, they interpret their discoveries into beautiful, dynamic styles for children, ages 0-12. They launched their women's collection in the fall of 2010 in that same spirit—easy-going, culturally-connected styles designed to fit your life.
Everything they create—their products, images, words and ideas—is inspired by going there and being here. By their passion for exploring different cultures. They are awed by the unique beauty and diversity of people around the world. As they celebrate and share their discoveries, it reminds them how small the world is and how alike we all are.
Why the name Tea?Tea, the drink, is shared in nearly every culture around the world. Being Tea is about experiencing life together, even when we're not in the same place. It means taking the time to understand and honor our differences. In doing so, we become closer.
