Eating the recommended five servings of fruits and vegetables isn't always easy.  Do you love smoothies?  Smoothie are delicious!  They can be a powerhouse of minerals and vitamins!  For this review I received What Color is Your Smoothie? recipe book.  This is really a fantastic book for recipes, that is full of great information!  Chapter one gives you a list of different vitamins and minerals, it tells you what fruit, vegetable, nut, oat, whole grain or other foods has that particular vitamins or minerals in it!  In the following chapter it talks about what certain fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and other powerhouse foods do to keep the body healthy.  This book is full of 300 smoothie recipes that can give your body a boost of nutrition, that has the most powerful affect on the body to keep it as healthy as possible!

I tried a dozen different smoothie recipes and I have many favorites.  The Cool Blue Coconut Chiller is so delicious and I can't wait to try every single recipe!  I am a big fan of drinking nutritious drinks, instead of eating the fruits, vegetables and other nutritious foods.  It's so much easier to just have a delicious smoothie, than eating all of that food.  My family has loved all the smoothies I have made and I would highly recommend this book!  This book of recipes is a powerhouse of healthy and delicious smoothies!
