Do you love unique gifts? Have your heard of Spoonful of Comfort? For this review I received a Chicken Soup Gift Box! This is the most unique gift box that I have ever received. I received one 64 oz. Jar of Chicken Noodle Soup, Half Dozen Made From Scratch Rolls and Half Dozen Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. One thing I really loved about the soup, besides the awesome taste, was that it didn't have any additives or preservatives in it! The rolls were fabulous and they were perfect for dipping in the soup. The oatmeal raisin cookies are my favorite cookie, so that was a perfect dessert. My family couldn't wait to dig in and start eating all the delicious gifts! I would highly recommend Spoonful of Comfort.
If someone you love is sick, sad or having a bad day...send a little comfort their way. Spoonful of Comfort Chicken Soup. They'll feel better and so will you! This would also be a perfect gift for the college student that's away from home. With the aroma of the soup, it will probably bring back some precious memories of home. If you think about it, this is a perfect gift for any occasion. Just about everybody loves Chicken Soup, Homemade Rolls and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. What about Mother's Day? That would be a perfect gift! What ever the occasion is, it will be a surprise! This is the first time I have ever seen a care basket like this!
Everything was well packed and very thoughtfully packaged. I loved the yellow polka dot ribbon, that was tied around all the delicious gifts! It reminded me of the song, Tie A Yellow Ribbon A Round The Old Oak Tree. It came with a delightful card, that also had the yellow polka dot ribbon on.

About Spoonful of Comfort
In October 2007, the founder received the phone call from her mother, that she had been diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
She was shocked, scared and panicked. The hardest part about hearing the news, was that she lived in New Brunswick Canada and I lived in Florida. More difficult still, she had just returned the day before from a trip visiting her. With two young children in school, she couldn't just turn around and go back.
She was so upset and felt helpless being so far away. She needed to "Do Something". She looked into sending flowers or fruit, but nothing seemed appropriate. She wanted to show her how much she cared, and in some way comfort her.
She immediately thought of chicken soup - it's what her mother (like many mothers) used to make to comfort her. The idea for Spoonful of Comfort was born.
Just six weeks later, she lost her mother.
During her mother's final weeks she got lots of soup and other comforts from many of her 11 siblings and close friends. Her mother never had the opportunity to try her soup.
However, in honor of her mother, it was her goal to help others with sick loved ones. It is her promise to make and deliver a Spoonful of Comfort to your loved ones with as much care as if she was sending it to her own mother. They'll feel better and so will you. Whether you have an ailing mother, a child away at college with the flu, or a grandchild with an ear infection, Spoonful of Comfort can help you show them, that you care.
