What type of cleaning products do you use? The only type of cleaning products that I will use, has to be all natural! Did you know that Vinegar is the perfect all natural cleaner? It's eco-friendly and it's non-toxic! So, many cleaners today have so many nasty chemical in them, that they are harmful for your body and the environment. If you look at the majority of cleaners, they say "Keep Out of Reach of Children", that is a big indication that they are not safe and so is "Toxic if Swallowed", I have even seen "harmful and fatal if ingested" on cleaning bottles. So, why would anybody want to use them?
I went to Walmart today and shopped for some of my favorite natural cleaners, like #HeinzVinegar and a few others! You can see my whole shopping trip on my Google+ Album!
I want to keep my family safe and if that means using Non-Toxic cleaners, I'm all for it! Why would anybody want to jeopardize their health for a cleaning product? So, let me tell you what you can do with the Heinz Cleaning Vinegar and some other natural cleaning products! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you how cheap it is, compared to all of those expensive toxic cleaners and it's even cheaper than those natural ready made cleaners! I paid $2.98 for a gallon of Heinz Cleaning Vinegar and I would highly recommend it!
For an All-Purpose Cleaner, get a spray bottle and put water about halfway, then add Heinz Cleaning Vinegar to the top of the bottle and add your choice of essential oils. I put Lavender and Tea Tree oil in mine. This is great for counter tops, walls and you can even use the same ingredients for cleaning your floors.
With the Heinz Cleaning Vinegar, use the full strength to clean your cutting boards to kill all the bacteria on them! I have one cutting board for meat and poultry, then I use a different one for fruit and vegetables.
Garbage Disposals get very dirty and can get a foul smell. That is when baking soda and vinegar come to the rescue! I take about ½ cup of baking soda and dump it down the drain, then add a cup of Heinz Cleaning Vinegar and let it bubble for about 10-15 minutes. Then I take a disposable oral swab, put baking soda on it and add vinegar. I clean the rubber flaps of the disposal with it and it comes out super clean!
I think everybody knows that you can clean your coffee maker with vinegar and water. I put about 6 cups of water and 6 cups of vinegar in it. Then I just brew the vinegar/water through it and then just brew water through it 2 or 3 times.
Here is another chemical-free cleaning job. Pour about a ½ cup of baking soda into the toilet and then add one cup of vinegar. You can see it bubbling, then wait about 10-15 minutes Take the toilet brush and scrub for super clean bowl!
Okay, I got part of the bathroom clean, now I will show you how well vinegar works on chrome. Take a wash cloth, pour vinegar on it and wipe down the faucet. It makes it sparkle!
I was reading an article the other day called, Germier Than Toilet Seats, But You Touch Them Every Day, by Dr. Mercola. It was a very interesting article! We touch so many of these things everyday, like shopping carts, door knobs, light switches, phones, remote controls and so many other items. We can't do much, when we are out of our own homes, but we can keep those items germ free in our homes, with Heinz Cleaning Vinegar. Every so often, I grab the vinegar and wipes down all the door knobs, phones, light switches, cupboard doors, keyboards, mouse and so many other things we grab around the house each day. Hand washing is also very important, when ever I come home from somewhere, I always wash my hands very thoroughly!'
I also use vinegar for cleaning produce! Just wash your sink out good, then use 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water and soak them in the vinegar water. It removes any dirty, bacteria, pesticides and herbicides that is on the produce, making it safe to eat.
