Have you heard of doTERRA Essential Oils?  Did you ever try using essential oils?  Just in the last 4 months I have been getting into essential oils and I'm finding out how they can improve your health.  You can use many of the  doTERRA Essential oils internally, supporting a variety of healthy conditions.  Many essential oils are generally regarded as being safe for dietary use, but some oils should not be taken internally.  doTERRA has really intrigued me, so I want to find out all I can about doTERRA!  I even bought a book on essentials oils, which was very helpful!

For this review I received one bottle of doTERRA Breathe Metabolic Blend Essential Oil.  Breathe Metabolic Blend is for respiratory issues, its proprietary formula is 100% pure CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) essential oils designed to help you manage your allergies, asthma, bronchitis, congestion, cough, flu, hay fever, pneumonia and sinus infectionsBreathe includes a blend of Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Tea tree, Lemon and Ravensara can easily be applied topically to the affected area.  I rubbed it on my chest, back and bottom of my feet.  I even put the Breathe Essential Oil in my warmer, instead of wax chips.  Having it in the warmer, it really cleared up my sinuses.  The doTERRA Breathe Essential Oil smells really refreshing and I would highly recommend it!

If you watch the above video, you will learn all about Breathe.  I was surprised to hear that the choirs use it before they sing to clear their throats.  You can use the oil by itself or dilute it, with coconut oil.

Ideas for Use

You can diffuse the doTERRA Breathe Metabolic Blend, in to the air while you sleep.  It works better than any cough syrup and much easier on your body.  You can even use 3-4 drops in a netti pot and it helps get rid of the mucus.  It penetrates deep in your nasal passages to actually kill the germs and helps you feel better.

When combined with a warm moist compress the tissues are eased with deep penetrating effects.  Its pleasant aroma is calming to the senses and perfect for night time diffusion allowing for a restful sleep.  Diluting Breathe with pure fractionated coconut oil is ample to allow its use with even the smallest of children.

Tips on how to use Breathe CPTG essential oil:

  • Rub on chest or bottoms of feet before exercising to help open airways.
  • If you or your child has asthma, keep a bottle of Breathe with you at all times.  To help the symptoms of asthma either rub the oil on chest, bottom of feet, or put a drop in the palm of hands and take a deep breath.
  • Diffuse in room to help calm the senses before bedtime, allowing for a restful sleep.
  • For the snorer in your family, diffuse or rub Breathe on their chest before bed for a better nights rest.

I used to get sinusitis. But diffusing essential oils with a humidifier/diffuser helps greatly! But I use breathe to help clear me out. I don't get the infections, but I get the sinus headaches. As soon as I start to feel a twinge of a headache coming on, I use Breathe. I also use other essential oils to help the inflammation of my sinuses if it gets really bad. I'm done with taking ibuprofen for my sinus pain. Next, I'm going to use Breathe in my Neti Pot. Thanks.

I think the one I would most like to try would be the past tense. I get both muscle spasms in my shoulders and tension headaches and I would love to see if it helps :)
