If you have been reading my blog lately, you have probably seen that I have done a couple of reviews for the doTERRA Essential Oils.  In the last three months I have received some very awesome essential oils from doTERRA.  I'm finding them to be more and more interesting!  I have been watching the videos on YouTube and visiting various sites on them.  I even purchased the book "Modern Essentials", it's a contemporary guide to the therapeutic use of essential oils from

Let me tell you a little bit of my experience with the oils so far.  The first doTERRA Essential Oil I received was the Slim & Sassy, which is a metabolic blend for weight-loss.  In the last 3 months I have lost 20 pounds and it has helped me manage my cravings.  The second essential oil, was Breathe, which is a metabolic blend for respiratory issues.  I don't have any respiratory issues, but I did put it in my wax warmer and the aroma was fabulous!  It really clears up your sinuses and it smells really refreshing.  So, for the month of June, I received the doTERRA Introductory Kit, that has the Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint essential oils in it, along with a CD and pamphlet.  I was pretty excited to try these three oils!

The Lavender oil, I put on the bottom of my feet every night and I have been sleeping like a baby!  If I have to get up early, I sent the alarm clock and normally, I kinda watch the clock all night, just knowing that the alarm will go off pretty soon.  Since, I have been putting the Lavender oil on my feet, I feel too relaxed to watch the clock all night, so I sleep like a baby.  The Lavender oil has healed up my eczema on my feet, where I tend to get blisters.  I have been taking it internally as well.  In the Modern Essentials book, it states that Lavender Essential Oil is good for the cardiovascular system, emotional balance, nervous system, skin, allergies, menopausal conditions, stretch marks and so many other uses, it's incredible!  On a five star rating system I would give it all five stars and I would highly recommend the Lavender Essential Oil from doTERRA!

I juice lemons and limes, to add to a pitcher of cold water, I find it refreshing to drink and I love the flavor.  Since, I have received the Lemon Essential Oil, I have been putting a couple of drops into my cup, with the lemon and lime water.  It really gives it a perfect lemony flavor.  In the morning, I rub 3-4 drops on the bottom of my feet, it seems to make me feel more energetic!  In the Modern Essentials book, it states that Lemon Essential Oil is good for lowering blood pressure, liver problems, arthritis, asthma, gout, infections and so many other uses, this sounds like the perfect essential oil!  I would also give the Lemon Essential Oil five stars and would highly recommend it!

Now, for the Peppermint Essential Oil!  I have put drops in my tea and rubbed it on the bottom of my feet.  When I took it internally, it makes me feel refreshed and calm.  I have also rubbed it on my side and it made the pain go away.  I have rubbed the Lavender Oil and Peppermint Oil on my feet together, it very relaxing and it will give you a good night of sleep.  In the Modern Essentials book, it states that Peppermint Essential Oil is good for colon polyps, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn, MRSA, itchy and so many other uses.  I also give the Peppermint Essential Oil five stars and would recommend it!

My experience with the doTERRA Introduction Kit has been awesome!  The more oils I try, the more I want to learn about doTERRA.  If you want to learn more about doTERRA, you can watch the videos on YouTube, order the Modern Essentials book, go to the Everything Essential website and go to My Natural Family to learn more about them.
