Cooking everyday meals can be challenging, especially if you don't have the proper cookware or utensils. There are so many brands of cookware. Would you rather have PFOA-Free Eco-friendly cookware? I sure do! So, many of today's cookware has PFOA in it, which is a chemical that is used in the manufacturing of traditional PTFE-based nonstick cookware coatings and other products. It's very unsafe to use cookware that has PFOA coating.
I was just reading a few articles on PFOA, one was called, Yale study links common chemicals to osteoarthritis and the other one was called, Deadly Teflon chemical - Decades of cover-ups. They both talk about how PFOA can cause very serious health problems! So, why would anybody want to use a pan that has a PFOA coating? I know, I'll never use a pan that has that dangerous coating on it.
For this review, I received one STONEHENGE Ultra-safe 100% PFOA-Free Non-Stick Stone Coating From Germany, Stone Earth Pan, by Ozeri! This is the most awesome frying pan! Make sure you season your pan, with ½ teaspoon of olive oil or vegetable oil before you use it. Nothing sticks to it. You can fry eggs, veggies, burgers, chicken and everything else, without anything sticking to it! It's not light weight, nor is it heavy. It's just right! It's very easy to clean, just take a wet soapy paper towel or sponge to it. This pan is very Eco-friendly and perfect for everyday use. I would highly recommend, The Stone Earth Pan, by Ozeri!

Before using the Stone Earth Pan, be sure to season it with ½ teaspoon of oil to create a very thin film. Rub the oil evenly into the surface of the pan and use a cloth or paper towel to wipe away the excess oil. The seasoning is only needed at the microscopic level. Olive or vegetable oil is recommended, but butter and other natural oils, such as coconut oil can be used. Nonstick sprays are not recommended, as they may contain additives and tend to release too much oil. DO NOT FORGET TO RUB AWAY THE EXCESS OIL! Excess seasoning can cause oil residue to build up, which cause food to stick. When cooking, use a lower heat source than what you are used to. This is because the Stone Earth Pan is a better conductor of heat, than traditional pans and cause food to cook faster. It is recommended not to exceed a medium heat setting!
Avoid using sharp utensils, as they may scratch the pan's coating and alter cooking performance. Plastic or wooden utensils are recommended. After cooking, allow the pan to cool before cleaning. A drastic temperature change can cause thermal shock and affect the pan's stone-derived coating. Avoid pouring cool water into the pan, when it is very hot, as this can cause cracking over time. DO NOT ALLOW THE PAN TO BOIL DRY!
To wash the Stone Earth Pan, it is recommended to using hot soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Dishwashing is NOT recommended!
