The Motor Oil Matters information and gift card have been provided by Motor Oil Matters. A $50.00 Visa card was received to get an oil change for this review. I was not paid in any form of cash for this posting. The opinions expressed are my own and were NOT influenced in any way.
Since summer has ended, it's time to get ready for fall and all the coming holidays! The summer months were busy and now it's time to prepare your automobile for another season. Have you gotten your oil changed lately? Did you know it's really important to get your oil changed every three to six months or every 3,000 miles?
Have you ever heard of MOM (Motor Oil Matters)? MOM is the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) new program for licensing motor oil distributors and oil change locations. Last July, I shared some tips and information about MOM (Motor Oil Matters). I wasn't quite ready for an oil change in July, but I have recently gotten my oil changed on my SUV. I checked the MOM website to see if there was a location close to me for an oil change, but there wasn't.
So, I went to Jiffy Lube. I made sure that I received High-Quality Motor Oil, that would protect my engine and emissions system! To make sure you’re aware of what questions to ask at your next oil change, MOM has provided the most awesome checklist! I would highly recommend this check list, it's full of good information! The MOM's website is very user friendly and it has answers for all of your questions, about motor oils.
I took my check list with me and I checked off everything on the list, except for MOM licensed installer. We have had our oil changed at Jiffy Lube for years and we always get great service, so I was happy with the oil change from Jiffy Lube!
The MOM mark will help identify oil change locations committed to providing you with High Quality Motor Oil. To find a MOM-certified oil change location near you, check the MOM (Motor Oil Matters) website.
