Product samples were received from Udi's for a review. I was not paid in any form of cash for this posting. The opinions expressed are my own and were NOT influenced in any way.
Many people have celiac disease or they have a gluten allergy, so the best thing for them to do is eat a gluten-free diet. That means having a diet, that excludes the protein gluten. Many grains like, wheat, barley, rye and triticale should be avoided. Gluten can cause inflammation in the small intestines for people that have celiac disease. Gluten can have bad effects on the body, symptoms can include bloating, abdominal discomfort, pain, diarrhea, muscular disturbances, vertigo and even headaches. People that have celiac disease or gluten allergies can help control their symptoms, by eating a gluten-free diet.
I don't have a problem with gluten, but I hear that a gluten-free diet can be frustrating. There are so many products that have gluten in it, so make sure you read the labels! More companies are offering gluten-free foods, which is really awesome! Thank goodness for all the gluten-free products from Udi's!
About Udi's Gluten-Free FoodsFor this review, I received Udi’s Gluten-Free Foods Sampler! The box was full of so many awesome products. The first thing I opened was the Maple Pecan Chocolate Chips Soft-baked cookies! Yum, they were delicious! Then I though, well those were good, I guess I'll try the Dark Chocolate Brownie Bites. They were equally delicious. The breads were excellent and so were the bagels. I love granola and the Cherry Walnut Granola was perfect, it was full of flavor.
