Many people seem to lack the energy to get through the day, so they turn to caffeine products. Have you heard of Energems? They are a Bite-Size Energy Supplements, that are coated, with real milk chocolate inside. They contain caffeine, B-Vitamins and a proprietary energy blend. In one box of 9 Gems, there are 3 servings, equivalent to one cup of coffee. Each gem has only 15 calories and less than 1 gram of fat.
About the Energems
For this review, I received one box of Chocolate, one box of Peanut Butter and one box of Mint Energems! I did try them and they do keep your alert, like coffee would and they taste pretty good, but I was disappointed with some of the ingredients. I can not recommend the Energems, because of the following ingredients.
In the Engergems, they have cyanocobalamin B-12. I have researched B-12 and found that cyanocobalamin B-12 is a low-grade, low-quality and slightly toxic (cyanide) form of vitamin B-12. The better choice of B-12 is Methylcobalamin! B-6 Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is a chemical forms of B vitamins, so I would not want to consume that either.
Another ingredient was folic acid. Folic Acid and Folate are used inter-changeably, but they are different. In short use, Folic Acid is okay, but in long term your Folate levels will decline.
In the Chocolate Energems, they contain artificial flavor and artificial coloring! (Red 40 Lake)

On the Energems website it does not state, that the Energems contain artificial flavoring or artificial coloring.
