There are so many people in North America that are deficient in Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Omega-3 plays an important part in helping to keep your body healthy. Our bodies can not produce Omega-3, so it's advisable to increase your consumption of Omega-3 through food or Omega-3 Fish Oil supplements. Most western diets are deficient in Omega-3 fatty acids and have excessive amounts of omega-6 fatty acids. Having too much Omega-6 in your body can promote many diseases, so there needs to be a ratio of omega-6/omega-3 essential fatty acids. Did you know that Omega-3 helps to reduce inflammation and most omega-6 acids tend to promote inflammation?
Are You Deficient in Omega-3?For this review, I received one bottle of TrueSol Omega-3 Fish Oil! I've been doing a lot of reading on how important Omega-3 is in your diet. I was just reading an article called, Omega-3 deficiency causes 96,000 US deaths per year, say researchers. I was very surprised to learn that! The article goes on to say that Omega-3 deficiency is the sixth biggest killer in American! I would highly recommend reading the article. Just reading that makes you want to make sure you're getting enough Omega-3. Studies have proven that Omega 3 essential fatty acids are essential for optimal health. It's hard to get enough Omega-3 in your diet from food alone, so by taking Omega-3 supplements, it could help tremendously!
Research has proven that Omega 3 benefits can include a decease in the following ailments:
- Promotes Heart Health - Heart attack, stroke, coronary heart disease and arrhythmia
- Increases Brain Function - Alzheimer's, cognitive decline & dementia
- Helps Inflammation & Joints - Stiffness & joint pain, from osteo & rheumatoid arthritis, symptoms of asthma & pneumonia
- Decreases Depression & Mood - Reduction in depression scores and daily stresses
- Promotes Healthy Skin - Photoageing, esp. elastosis, wrinkle formation & chronological aging, skin disorders like acne & psoriasis
I found a Omega-3 food chart on World's Healthiest Foods and it shows the top foods that will increase your Omega-3. Flax Seeds was the number one omega-3 food choice. Most Americans don't eat a healthy diet, that's full of Omega-3, but they can get enough Omega-3 from taking supplements!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
