For this review, I received one bottle of Hermosa Peak Yacon Syrup!  I love the Yacon Syrup and it taste AWESOME!  It's so sweet and delicious, PLUS it's a non-caloric sweetener!  It's only 13 calories per teaspoon.  The sugars from the fructooligosaccharides (FOS) give the syrup its sweetness, which are processed by the body like fiber.

The tuber and the sugary syrup has been part of the traditional Andean diet for centuries.  The syrup has medicinal benefits for digestive disorders, kidney problems and diabetes.  Yacon Syrup helps healthy gut bacteria, which builds a stronger immune and digestive systems, plus it helps with inflammation.

A scientific study showed that a daily intake of yacon syrup produced a significant decrease in body weight, waist circumference and body mass index.  The Yacon Syrup speeds up the metabolism to help in fighting excess fat and regulates the hunger hormone, making you feel full longer!
