Turmeric is gaining popularity as the number one supplement! Turmeric has medicinal properties that can help chronic pain, from arthritis and it has been clinically proven. It can even help with liver damage and help to reversing the onset of Alzheimer's disease. These are just a few of the benefits why Turmeric has been so popular for centuries as a medicinal herb!
Picking Out The Perfect TurmericFor this review, I received one bottle of True Synergy Turmeric! I'm a firm believe in using Turmeric, but not this particular Turmeric. The reason is that it has Magnesium Stearate and Stearic Acid. Magnesium Stearate is a flow agent additive and over time it can actually block the absorption of nutrients into your body. I don't know if the Stearic Acid was prepared synthetically by hydrogenation of cotton seed and other oils, but if it was it contains pesticide residue. Also a study was done on stearic acid and it could suppress the activity of our natural killer cells. Since this Turmeric has these two items in it, I can not recommend it.
I've research turmeric for sometime and I created a couple of Pinterest boards called, Turmeric/Curcumin/Cayenne Pepper/Curcuminoids and Cancer/Turmeric/Curcumin, where I continue to add more pins that are linked to turmeric and what it'll do for the body.
If you look at the list below, it's quite impressive! At the bottom of the list, I'll leave links to the articles of where I found this information.
